The study of the course is designed to form an idea of the development of international relations modernity, the main subjects and objects of international relations, the most important problems of foreign policy and diplomacy of Central Asian countries of this period. While working on the course, students familiarize themselves with the main stages of development of international relations in the region, as well as with the peculiarities of foreign policy and diplomacy of Central Asian countries in the regional context. This academic discipline implies the acquisition by students of knowledge about national and state interests of the Kyrgyz Republic and other global and regional players in the region, about international organizations operating in Central Asia, about the main documents and normative-legal acts serving as sources of information about the political and socio-economic system of the countries of the region, about diplomatic institutions in the countries of Central Asia.
